| Description | This unusually small wallpaper design was originally a book-end covering. It was found in a collection of very old manuscripts printed in Frankfurt, Germany. Use of these delightful patterns dates back to the fifteenth century. From Italy to France and then to all of Europe they spread. Five Centuries later, the domino prints are still used, but on walls as background effect... in closets to complement the more elaborate patterns... and in bureau drawers for added color interest. |
