| Description | Found in Halifax, Massachusetts, this reproduction was probably the prize of an early sea captain. Basically Chinese, the stylized quercus leaf was adapted for western world use by the English and French, who imported Chinese artists to help them design wallpapers. This pattern is unusually successful in that its many color combinations make it suitable for virtually any room in a house. |
