| Description | The original of this lovely wallpaper came from France via Natchez, Mississippi, that shrine for lovers of all relics of a gracious past. In the days before the Civil War, when Cotton was King, whole shiploads of fitments were brought from France to Mississippi and especially Natchez, for the stately homes of the planters. This pattern was reproduced by Strahan for Whittridge & Barrows, an old New York firm. |
