| Description | This delicate pattern, reproduced in delightful colors, was adapted from a small-figured damask made in England. Source of the damask cloth was a home in the beautiful Flower Hill section of Long Island, New York. A very similar pattern has been found which helps to establish the date of this useful paper. An English firm, named Dupper, Slodden, & Collins manufactured an identical spring on a ground imitating a "watered" textile fabric. It was dated 1835. |
