As wallpapers frequently portray historical events, the "Cervera" commemorates the invention of the balloon by the Montgolfier brothers in 1783. The paper is accredited to Reveillon, most noted early French wallpaper manufacturer, who built a factory in the field from which the Montgolfier brothers made their famous ascent. |
