| Description | This paper with scenic insets was taken from the walls in the old Kelton house of Montpelier, capital of Vermont. Major Kelton and his wife, Dr. Anna Kelton, lived in this home after he was retired from the service about 1900. It was from Mrs. Kelton, a collector of antiques, that we obtained the distinctive hand-blocked original. |
