| Description | During the recent restoration of the General Sylvanus Thayer birthplace in South Braintree, Massachusetts, one pine wall of the original structure was discovered hidden eight inches behind a more recent partition. This very early allover stencil pattern was clinging to the old pine boards and had been printed on small sheets of hand made paper. |
